We will be supporting two great causes in March. The Downs Syndrome Awareness day will require everyone to wear odd socks for a small contribution on the 21st March. We will also be supporting Autims Awareness week on the 26th March the theme for the day will be decided by the student council.

The Friends of Manor Green are still looking for more friends to either join the committee or be willing to give up some time to support the Summer Fayre. If you are willing to support either, can you contact Natalie in the school office.

There are still a few places available for after school clubs please let your child’s class teacher know if you would like your child to participate in this.

Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic Minecraft morning last Friday and it was great to see so many pupils dressing up to make this a huge success.

Just to remind you that parents evening is Wednesday 7th February. This will give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s targets and progress.

On Monday the 29th January, Robert Hayes will be in school from 9.30 until 11am to offer advice on benefits and on Friday the 8th February there will be a Maths workshop and all parents are welcome to attend. The workshop will start at 2pm in the staff room.

I am pleased to let you know that Amanda Preece has returned to school and if you have any concerns about your child’s behaviour or any therapy concerns which cannot be dealt with by your child’s class teacher, please contact her.
